Psymentology ['Psyche' + 'Mental' + Study] or "Interuniversal Psychology" addresses both our mental states and the other aspects of consciousness that govern the operation of the body and mind. These layers of consciousness govern everything from how cells function to the thoughts that pop into the mind seemingly with no source or reason. Psymentology Therapy specifically addresses conditions which have no physical cause including psychosomatic illnesses, chronic and mystery conditions, and psychological disorders. As described on the CAM page, Psymentology Therapy operates through a Link to the Interuniversal Conciousness Network, which a Therapist opens for a Patient. As with all Links, the efficacy of this therapy relies in part on the subject's willingness to receive, and to participate in their own healing through neutral and curious observation of their inner world (including physical, mental, and emotional shifts).
Examples of disorders Psymentology Therapy can be used to treat:
- Perceptual hallucinations including visual, auditory, olfactory, and tactile
- Lack of control over motor skills / physical ticks
- Bipolar Disorder
- Multiple Personality Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Severe depression
- Self-harm and suicidal ideation
- Hyperactivity (ADHD)
- Unusual involuntary behaviours such as sleep walking
A compassionate word of caution. Becoming a Psymentology Therapist requires proper training in order to ensure efficacy of the treatment and reduce the possibility of unwanted or harmful effects. Please refer to the certification course page.
